U.S. and Chinese Officials Join Climate Talks Near Great Wall

BEIJING (July 23, 2008) – A meeting on U.S.-China climate cooperation was held at the foot of the Great Wall in Beijing from July 21 to 23, 2008. Dialogues focusing on Sino-US cooperation on climate change, were both positive and constructive. Both Chinese and American government officials attended the discussion.
The discussion, sponsored by Rockefeller Brothers Fund and blue moon fund, was co-hosted by Chinese environmental NGO, the Global Environmental Institute (GEI), and U.S. think tank, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
