The three American experts presented on the methodologies used in the US to make and quantitatively analyze low carbon policies, including specific case studies. This was well received by the Chinese experts and researchers, who then shared their own experiences and the challenges faced in conducting a quantitative analysis of low carbon policy in China. They also expressed their hope to participate in further similar exchanges in the future.
The workshop not only strengthened communication between the American and Chinese low carbon policy experts and researchers but also provided a new way of thinking and new methods of low carbon policy quantitative analysis to the Chinese experts.
GEI will hold more such exchanges in the future and hopes more experts and researchers from both China and abroad can attend.
