Inspiration from Nature Sustainable Community Development Fund

The “Inspiration from Nature Sustainable Community Development Fund” (hereafter the “Inspiration from Nature Special Fund” or the “Special Fund”) is a public interest project established under the Global Environmental Innovation Fund (GEIF) program of the Global Environmental Institute (GEI), and is supported by an initial donation from Shanghai Yunhe Planning & Landscape Design Co. Ltd. The Inspiration from Nature Special Fund is dedicated improving comprehensive sustainable development capacity at the community level by supporting community environmental protection, development, and cultural heritage projects etc.

At present, the Special Fund has provided funding and expert support for two community projects. The first project is the Zhonglu Forest School Sustainable Community Development Project, which is located in a village of Danba, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The second is the Sanjiangyuan Sustainable Community Development Project, located in Qinghai province.
