Yan Sun is a Program Officer for GEI’s Overseas Investment, Trade, and Environment Projects. She holds a master’s degree in Resilient Agriculture and Food Systems (Organic Agriculture) from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. With over eight years of experience living, studying, and working in Europe, Yan has worked for two international companies, accumulating extensive cross-border experience in their branches in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, and Lithuania. Her primary responsibilities include promoting cooperation and trade between Chinese and European enterprises, maintaining client relationships, and managing logistics projects.

In her spare time, Yan enjoys the visual and auditory impact brought by high-quality movie scenes and perfectly timed background music. Her two favorite films are “Interstellar” and “Arrival,” which consistently move her with their portrayal of human resilience in adversity and the profound emotions between individuals. Additionally, she occasionally finds solace in the virtual worlds of Nintendo.
