Dongquan Long is the External Relations Officer at the Global Environmental Institute (GEI), responsible for GEI’s social media marketing, external relations building, and communication strategies support, such as editing, graphic design, and event management.

Before joining GEI, Dongquan worked as the communication officer at Greenpeace, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) and other non-profit organizations.

Dongquan graduated from Capital Normal University with a major in Comparative Literature and gained her master’s degree in Asian Studies and Art History from Florida State University and New York University. She is proficient in Chinese, English, and Japanese. After work, she loves traveling, music, literature, and art, especially 19th-century French painting and post-war Japanese photography.
